Cookies

The Services of KLI use “cookies”. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or phone when you access a Service that allows the Service to remember information about you and your preferences.

Some cookies are deleted when you close down your browser. These are known as session cookies (“Session Cookies”). Others remain on your device until they expire or you delete them from your cache. These are known as persistent cookies (“Persistent Cookies”) and enable us to remember things about you as a returning visitor.

The cookies we use allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the Service when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way a Service works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily. Our cookies also enable us to tailor the content you view according to preferences you set.

We use Session Cookies for the following purposes:

  • To allow you to carry information across pages of our Service and avoid having to re-enter information.
  • Within registration to allow you to access stored information;
  • To compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how users use our Service and to help us improve the structure of our Service.

We use Persistent Cookies for the following purposes:

  • To help us recognize you as a unique visitor (just a number) when you return to our Service and to allow us to tailor content to match your preferred interests;
  • To compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how users use our Service and to help us improve the structure of our Service
  • To internally identify you by account name, email address, customer ID, and location (geographic and computer ID/IP address);
  • To tailor content to your preferences.

Third parties serve cookies via the Service. These third party cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • To serve content on a Service and track whether this content is clicked on by users;
  • To control how often you are shown particular content;
  • To count the number of anonymous users of a Service;
  • For Service usage analysis.

By using the Service and accepting the cookie banner, you consent to the processing of your personal data through cookies by KLI in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. You can also set your browser to block the placing of cookies at all, but you should realize that this can limit the use of the Services. You can find more information about cookies at www.cookiecentral.com/faq

Information from your subscription

When you subscribe to any or all of the products that can be accessed at our Service, or when you send a form requesting a product trial, you must provide information identifying you as customer.

Google Analytics

The Services use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the Service analyze how you use the Service. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Service (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Also, the Service uses Google AdWords for “retargeting” purposes; for more information please read here.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Service, compiling reports on Service activity for Service operators and providing other services relating to Service activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Service. By using the Service and accepting the cookie banner, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

2. Use of personal information

Personal information is used for internal administrative purposes, such as order processing, invoicing and bookkeeping, for performing our obligations towards you, for compliance with legislation and for generating statistics used by marketing.

These third parties do not have the right to use the personal customer information beyond what is necessary to assist us. They are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of the personal customer information and are restricted from using such information in any way not expressly authorized by KLI.
