Shipping and Handling
As of 10 July 2006, Kluwer Law International will charge shipping and handling fees to their customers for all prepaid and credit card orders, looseleaf and CD-ROM orders.
Historically, we have not charged customers for shipping and handling of prepaid and credit card orders, CD-ROMs and looseleafs; however, due to expanding inflation and sharply rising oil prices, which has resulted in higher prices for paper, printing and transportation, we can no longer absorb these costs and must pass it on to the consumer.
Please note that this policy change supersedes and renders inapplicable all previous terms and conditions that may have been applied.
For orders shipping within the US, shipping and handling charges will be based on 9.2% of the value of the order with a maximum set at USD 26.00. For orders shipping to Rest of World, shipping and handling charges will be based on 12.6% of the value of the order with a maximum set at EUR 37.00/ USD 37.00 / GBP 37.00.
If you require expedited shipping of your order, you will be charged additional fees for this service. The surcharge for expedited shipping is EUR 25.00 (DHL) / USD 25.00 (DHL) / GBP 25.00 (next day delivery). Please contact our Customer Service team for more information about this option.
